Supermiata Xida Coilovers for Mazda MX-5 NC
Supermiata’s Xida coilovers have the accolade of securing more national road racing championships than any others in the world. Working with TractTive Suspension in the Netherlands for the dampers and Swift Springs in the USA for the springs, Supermiata have put together the ultimate MX-5 coilover for motorsport. Unlike most other coilovers, the damper bodies are designed specifically for the MX-5 application.
By optimising the length and utilising a single perch design, the damper can be packed with as much fluid as possible, preventing overheating and increasing efficiency. Offering more damper stroke than any other coilover on the market ensures the suspension can do the work it needs to before hitting the bump stop prematurely. The rear damper is inverted to provide even greater stroke than is usually available. The double-digressive damper is adjusted by a single knob to tune compression and rebound together, simplifying the setup and ensuring everything works in harmony together.
The exceptional valving of the TracTive Suspension dampers combined with superior quality springs from Swift Springs generates unprecedented levels of grip over all paved surfaces, without compromising the quality of the ride. The digressive damping makes the handling ultra-sharp and delivers enormous amounts of grip, yet allows the car to glide over trackside kerbs without becoming unsettled.
These Xidas include the billet coaxial top mounts.
