Some oils break down and significantly increase in viscosity after extended periods of high-temperature operation. The GM Oxidation and Deposit (GMOD) Test consists of a 5.7L V8 engine running at 293?F (100? hotter than normal) for 100 hours. These severe operating conditions test an oils ability to control viscosity increase, deposits and oil consumption. LSPI is the spontaneous ignition of the fuel/air mixture prior to spark-triggered ignition. Most new engines feature gasoline direct-inject (GDI), often coupled with a turbocharger. COMPATIBILITY

AMSOIL XL Synthetic Engine?Oil is compatible with conventional and other synthetic engine?oils. Mixing other oils with AMSOIL engine?oils, however, will shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.

Aftermarket oil additives are?not recommended?for use with AMSOIL XL Synthetic Engine?Oil.

SERVICE LIFE

In petrol?vehicles, AMSOIL XL Synthetic Engine?Oil is recommended for up to 12,000 miles/one year oil change intervals, or longer when recommended in owner’s manuals or indicated by electronic oil life monitoring systems. Change the

oil filter at every oil change regardless of filter brand.

Making a warranty claim

Proof of purchase receipt showing the date of purchase, proof of mileage at installation, proof of current mileage and invoice of the work undertaken by an independent experienced professional mechanic must be supplied along with the returned products for a warranty claim to be considered. If your vehicle needs to be used whilst your warranty claim is considered replacement parts from the same manufacturer should be purchased through BOFI Racing. In the event of a successful warranty claim, we will refund the card that was originally used to purchase the replacement parts, in full or in part depending on the nature of the claim. BOFI Racing reserves the right to make full or partial compensation at its sole discretion depending on the condition and mileage use of the returned suspect parts. For example, if you have used the part for several thousand miles before a defect is noticed, only partial compensation may be offered.
