The SR1 Supercharger Kit For Mazda MX-5 NA NB fits both 1.6 and 1.8 MX-5s from 1989 to 2005. We’ve taken the Salon Motorsport kit and added a bundle of parts that ensure complete reliability and maximum power.
The Eaton supercharger taken from the Mini Cooper S provides a significant jump in power. The roots style positive displacement supercharger instantly generates the same amount of boost across the whole RPM range, retaining the original throttle response but with the grunt of a bigger engine. Power is available instantly, making the MX-5 an even more formidable B-road machine, with exceptional track manners to boot.
The SR1 kit contains everything you need for bolt-on power. This kit is not compatible with air conditioning. A custom solution is required for the hot side of the intercooler pipework. Please contact us first if you have Aircon so we can remove the outlet pipe so you can customise the kit to your application later.

Please note that this kit is not compatible with an Exocet as the outlet interferes with the strut tower. Modification is required for proper fit.
