Regular cleaning of the Mazda MX-5 drain holes is highly recommended to keep them from blocking. A blockage in one of these can cause excess water on and around the parcel shelf and even lead to the water running into the sills, causing rust.

This brush has two brush heads and has a plastic-coated wire to prevent any damage to the car.

Quick Tips

Only feed the brush in from the top of the drain hole, if you feed it from the bottom all of the gunk in the bottom will be bought up to the inside of your car.

Don’t push down too hard with the brush as this can cause the drain tube to be become disconnected from the water catch tray, leaking water directly to the sills.

At the bottom of the drain tubes there is a small plastic catch designed to obstruct road-noise. If the brush won’t go all the way through, try to poke the bottom of the drain tube with a small screw driver to move the catch out the way.

Making a warranty claim

Proof of purchase receipt showing the date of purchase, proof of mileage at installation, proof of current mileage and invoice of the work undertaken by an independent experienced professional mechanic must be supplied along with the returned products for a warranty claim to be considered. If your vehicle needs to be used whilst your warranty claim is considered replacement parts from the same manufacturer should be purchased through BOFI Racing. In the event of a successful warranty claim, we will refund the card that was originally used to purchase the replacement parts, in full or in part depending on the nature of the claim. BOFI Racing reserves the right to make full or partial compensation at its sole discretion depending on the condition and mileage use of the returned suspect parts. For example, if you have used the part for several thousand miles before a defect is noticed, only partial compensation may be offered.
