Stage 4 BP4W 1.8 Turbo Engine Package
Stage 4 BP4W 1.8 Engine Turbo Package to support up to 450HP
Designed for turbo conversions, this stage 3 package can support up to 450hp with the appropriate turbocharger. The stage 3 package uses 84.5mm forged pistons to increase the displacement to 1906CC. The compression ratio is reduced to 9.0:1 to improve knock resistance.
Connecting rods are upgraded to a larger 3/8″ cap bolt and precision finish for extra power capacity. The oil pump is upgraded to a Boundary S2 pump along with a Fluidampr to support 8,000 RPM. Head and main bolts are replaced for ARP studs to increase clamping force.
The head is rebuilt with +1mm oversized back-cut valves and new valve guides which are diamond-honed for factory-fresh sealing. Cat Cams turbo camshafts provide extra lift and duration and are matched to adjustable cam pulleys. Dual valve springs are used to cope with the additional lift, with titanium seats & retainers reducing reciprocating mass. Lifters are upgraded to shim-under-bucket to prevent the shims from being popped out.
The block is cleaned, rebored and refaced to ensure good sealing to the new head gasket and piston rings. The whole crankshaft assembly is balanced. The timing belt and water pump are renewed, and every gasket & seal is replaced. These engines are sold on an exchange basis. We can have the engine delivered on a pallet or you can arrange collection from our shop.
