Returns Policy

Right to return

You have the right to return a product or to cancel an order within the first 30 days following delivery (excluding special order items – see below). We also reserve the right to refund your purchase minus any carriage charges that we have incurred in delivering.

Special order items

Special order items are ordered especially from manufacturers and for this reason are non-returnable. We will not be able to accept special order goods back for credit or exchange. This includes items that are built to order such as special colour GC Fabrications roll bars and special colour K-Sport brake callipers. We reserve the right to add products to this list, although they may not appear here immediately.

Correct parts supplied

If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the product costs only. Any carriage costs incurred from the original order will not be refunded.

If you use our Royal Mail portal to return your correctly supplied product we will deduct £6.00 inc VAT from your refund amount.

Incorrect parts supplied

If we have incorrectly supplied the products ordered we will resupply the correct product at our expense and reimburse the return carriage costs. These costs will be refunded as credit note in the form of store credit. We require proof of carriage costs to be sent to [email protected] along with your original order number.

Incomplete/damaged parts

If the goods are delivered incomplete or have been damaged in transit we reserve the right to replace the product. If you require a refund, we will reimburse the product costs but not the original carriage costs. Please note that you will also be responsible for the return carriage charges which will be refunded as credit note in the form of store credit. We may offer you a partial refund at our discretion if you wish to keep your parts.

You must inform us of damaged deliveries within 72 hours of delivery. We are unable to accept responsibility for damage to goods beyond these periods.

Warranty/faulty items

Products supplied by BOFI Racing are subject to the warranty set by the manufacturer. If you have a problem within 90 days of purchase we will replace the part but reserve the right to test items before exchange. This may require the part to be returned to the original manufacturer. After 90 days the part may either be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

Before exchanging goods we reserve the right to test items thought to be at fault. Payment will be required for any replacement parts sent out before the return of ‘faulty’ goods. If items are returned and found not to be at fault they will be returned to the customer or a credit note issued to the value of the goods less a 15% administration charge.

The guarantee on parts is limited to the product itself. We do not cover any labour costs incurred in removing and replacing parts that are faulty or thought to be faulty.

Our guarantee does not cover any form of impact damage.

Product exchanges

If you wish to return a product for exchange then we reserve the right to deduct our initial shipping fee. (i.e. the shipping fee that we have incurred in shipping the first product to you) and a 15% re-stocking charge. Goods returned outside of the 30 day cancellation period will either be exchanged for other goods or have store credit issued. Parts that have been fitted, modified or are not in a resalable condition will not be accepted back for credit or exchange.

(The handling charge is to offset the costs incurred by ourselves in processing and shipping your order as requested)

Return of goods outside of the 30 days cancellation period

For all goods returned outside of this period, subject to the parts being returned in their original packaging in a resalable condition, we will issue a credit note to the value of the goods less a 15% re-stocking fee.

International returns

If you are returning anything to us from outside of the UK, you must complete a customs declaration correctly indicating that the package contains ‘returned goods’ (or similar wording). If your parcel is stopped at UK customs and a charge is levied, we will refuse payment and the package will be returned to you. Under no circumstances will we pay customs duty in order to receive returned products.

If you are unable to return your item for a reasonable price we may be able to assist by arranging a return for you. We will charge you for the return postage which we will then reimburse to you as a store credit if we determine the product is subject to a successful warranty claim.

Return postage

We will reimburse the return postage in the form of store credit for orders where items have been incorrectly supplied, successful warranty claims and orders that are incomplete or have been damaged in transit. We will not reimburse return postage for orders that were supplied correctly or for unsuccessful warranty claims.

Damage whilst in transit

We will not be held liable if your item sustains damage whilst being returned to us. It is your responsibility to ensure all items are correctly packaged and are delivered safely back to us, whether using our Royal Mail returns portal or another service. In the case the item is damaged during return transit we will review the costs to repair the item and deduct the total from the refund. If an item cannot be economically repaired it will be returned to you without a refund.

Packages over 61 x 46 x 46cm or 20kg

If you wish to return an item then please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us by email at [email protected] with your reason for return, stating your order number. Please note that we can only refund if goods are returned in the original packaging in “as new” condition.
  2. We will provide a return number which must be referenced either in or on the packaging so we can quickly and efficiency find the order this return is related to.
  3. Send the goods to the following address:

Outside of the UK

In the event the items are being returned due to a fault or warranty related issue, we will provide a return label and assume responsibility for transit provided the item has been appropriately packaged with the required documentation attached as advised.

In the event of an unwanted parcel return, the customer must organise their own shipping with associated insurances and customs documentation, we will deduct any import costs from the refund after inspection of the item. Returns must be pre-agreed with pictures of the product prior to dispatch, items must be in brand new re-sellable condition.
