We Put TWO Exhaust Cams Into Dan’s Mazda MX-5 Miata 1.6 NB Engine

With Dan putting an NB head onto his 1.6 NA bottom end, we had one set of NA cams and one set of NB cams at our disposal. Looking over the cam specs, we found that putting the NB exhaust cam into the intake would go some way to roughly replicating a mild turbo cam. In this episode, Leigh collars James into working out the correct angle the cam should be installed at so that the engine is ready to test when the dyno turns up.
