We Did A Track Day At Anglesey During Storm Dennis

Leigh and James make an epic trip to a track day at Anglesey Circuit in North Wales. With Storm Dennis threatening to ruin the whole weekend, they don’t know if the event will even run. Regardless, the cars are packed and it’s off to Anglesey in the pouring rain. There’s a slight chance there might just be a break in the weather, and they’re willing to take the risk to tick it off their bucket list.

Mary — Leigh’s ’89 Supercharged 1.6 — is loaded with petrol cans and a set of Nankang AR-1s strapped to the boot. James has filled Winston — a ’93 EFR powered 1.8 — full of tools. Once in North Wales, it’s not looking good. The gale-force winds and relentless rain won’t make for ideal track conditions. Next morning, hail and strong gusts that threaten to cut the day short.
